A Bit of Clarification

Prairiemango is all about Manitoba, its subtle nuances, shy demeanour and solid grounding.  It was developed under the notion that the tourism industry can be a driver for environmental conservation, economic gain and cultural understanding.  It was developed with the belief that there has got to be more to Manitoba than what is being presented.

Prairiemango is more than just a tourism organization working to build the tourism industry.  It is about how tourism can build community - a sustainable community focussed on cultural and social empowerment, environmental action and economic growth for all.

By taking a community first, bottom-up approach, Prairiemango will work to understand the needs of the communities and regions of Manitoba.  For this to work, we all need to be open to the idea that there is someone listening and ready to come up with solutions that take into account a collective strategy.

We have to build it from within.

For a community with a voice, Prairiemango can be your forum.
